Challenge your mind. Measure your potential. The most advanced cognitive assessment platform of NIT Durgapur is now live.
CIT 9.0 is meticulously structured to evaluate participants through multiple progressive rounds, each designed to test distinct yet complementary skill sets essential for academic and professional excellence.
The Preliminary Round serves as the foundation of the competition and consists of a comprehensive aptitude assessment. This round evaluates participants on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, and data interpretation, aligned with national-level competitive examination standards. The questions are carefully curated to assess numerical proficiency, analytical clarity, pattern recognition, and time management. Performance in this round determines shortlisting for the subsequent stage, ensuring that only the most analytically proficient candidates advance further.
Qualified participants proceed to the Final Round, which is a problem-based pitching round designed to simulate real-world analytical and decision-making scenarios. In this stage, shortlisted teams are allotted problem statements reflecting practical challenges encountered in academic, industrial, or societal contexts. Participants are required to analyze the problem, devise structured and innovative solutions, and present their approach through a well-prepared PowerPoint presentation.
The pitching round evaluates participants on multiple parameters, including problem understanding, logical structuring, feasibility of solutions, clarity of presentation, data-backed reasoning, and communication skills. This round not only assesses analytical depth but also emphasizes teamwork, strategic thinking, and the ability to articulate ideas effectively under professional evaluation settings.
Together, these rounds ensure that CIT 9.0 goes beyond traditional aptitude testing by combining objective analytical assessment with subjective evaluation of problem-solving and presentation skills, thereby offering participants a holistic competitive experience aligned with modern screening and selection processes.
